NSFW's Unexpected British School Kids Origin
The internet slang "NSFW" (Not Safe for Work) might have originated from "NFBSK", short for "Not For British School Kids", around 2000.
Before 'NSFW' became common, a similar acronym, 'NFBSK,' was reportedly used on early internet forums. It warned users about content not suitable for British school children.
